Dr. Blake Willoughby DDS

Dr. Blake Willoughby, DDS is the owner and lead dentist at Bluewater Dental, serving patients across Palm Beach Gardens and Juno Beach, Florida. A local to the Palm Beach County area, Dr. Willoughby brings a deep connection to the community he serves — and a genuine passion for dentistry that goes well beyond the clinical chair. His approach is rooted in listening, building trust, and creating individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Dr. Willoughby is committed to lifelong learning and has dedicated significant time to advancing his clinical skills through structured mentorship. He participates in an intensive mentorship program at the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Center — logging over 60 hours of mentorship annually under a world-renowned dental clinician who lectures internationally. Through this program, Dr. Willoughby also gives back to the community by providing care to patients who might otherwise be unable to afford private dental services.

A fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Willoughby is proud to offer care to Spanish-speaking members of the Palm Beach County community. Each year, he is also invited to perform dental screenings for players in the Miami Marlins baseball organization — a testament to the trust and professional recognition he has earned in his field.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Willoughby is a musician at heart. He enjoys playing the piano, drums, ukulele, and several other instruments, with a particular appreciation for reggae, rock, and jazz. He shares his life with his wife, Tara, who is also a dentist, their baby boy, and their mini Bernedoodle.

When he is not in the office, you will likely find Dr. Willoughby on the water — diving, boating, and spearfishing in the Bahamas and the Florida Keys. He also enjoys traveling, attending concerts, staying active through sports and workouts, and spending quality time with friends and family. A proud Miami Dolphins fan, he brings the same enthusiasm and dedication to his practice that he brings to everything he loves.
